The beer

Bed to small 3/4 bed not a double toilet fan on all night fqn in bathroom kept us awake

Friendly and good location.

Upgrade on room but room was dated with damp patch and room was freezing which is not great after a days walking. Food was not the best sausage and mash for £16 with 3 cocktail sausages.

The area was beautiful, the bedside sheets were clean.

There was no heating at night since we arrived my children and I were unable to sleep due to the extreme cold. It felt like sleeping outside. The bathroom, toilet and the carpet were not clean. There was no one to speak to to ask for help.

We arrived very late in the evening but the staff kindly waited up for our arrival. Check-in was quick and without fuss, which was appreciated after a long day. Clean comfortable room, hot shower, and biscuits with the teas/coffees which always gets an extra mark from me :) Big customer carpark. Beautiful views from this pub's coastal location and a nice drive along the road to Ulverston.
